Fairy Moss Live Floating Pond Plants

Fairy Moss is great in finishing filters for removing nitrates (fertilizer) that is left at the end of the biological cycle. fairy Moss helps provide coverage and shade to help starve out algae. Fairy Moss has a tiny structure about 1/2" across, green in shade and turning to deep red in sun. Many fish will eat ferns.

This sale is for a 6 oz. Scoop in a sealed poly bag which will densely cover about a two square foot area. We recommend no greater than 10-20% coverage in ponds and 50% in well lighted aquariums.
